Snack Attack Brings the NEW Healthy & Tried & True Snacks for 2015

The Editor's Showcase is back! The invite-only brand to press showcase hit New York City just last week--we've got a LOT to share. Touted as having the latest sweet, salty and indulgent snacks along with to-go convenience foods and beverages for adults and children,we found not only tried and true goodies but super healthy NEW finds as well.

 

Familiar brands included:  7-Eleven, Chobani, Jarlsberg, et al. Here's what you can expect to on shelves shortly:  7-Eleven, is rolling out two new premium lines (Go-Yum & Go-Smart) under 7-select -Yum incoporates premium chocolates and ice cream as well as popcorn, yogurt drizzle bars and more;  Chobani the Greek Style yogurt brand will roll out Chobani Oats, Chobani Flip (all natural mix-ins), and Limited Batch flavors of Plum and Watermelon. 

 

Participating healthy brands included: Among Friends Baking, 7-Eleven, B&G Foods, Back to the Roots, Fusion Jerky,Ruby's Rockets, Manitoba, Mauna Loa, NoMoo Cookie Company, Pretzel Perfection and more.

 

While sampling the brands may have been one of the best draws of the evening it was even more exciting to discover burgeoning brands that are sure to one day be huge.  Here are some products from a few NEW healthy brands that are worth watching out for:   NoMoo Cookies, these delish edibles hail from Pennsylvania and have been in business for just over a year. They offer luxe non-dairy, all kosher cookies that comes in a variety of flavors ranging from Choco-Lift to Flyin' Hawaiaan w/pineapple; Ruby's Rocket Veggie & Fruit pops, these non-dairy pops offer healthy probiotics 500 million CFU/serving), they are non-GMO and lowin sugar. Both gluten free and vegan they launch are launching 5 new flavors, in 2015, that kids will love--Meteorite Mango, Gravity Grape, Far Out Fudge, Celsetial Cherry, and Planetary Pink Lemonade. Ruby's Rocket original flavors of Orbit Orange, Rock-It Red, and Galaxy Green are also still avaialable.
